Full resolution. No watermark. Actually free. Most background removers hand you a 625×400 preview and charge for the real file. This one doesn't.

BGNinja is free. No account, no watermark, no daily cap, and it returns the photo at full resolution — the free result is not a shrunken preview. If you need bigger photos or a bigger batch than the free limits, there are two optional passes: €5 for 30 days or €3 for 24 hours. That is the whole price list.

Free

The pass — €5 for 30 days, €3 for 24 hours

One-off payment. No subscription, nothing renews, nothing is charged again. It adds:

Three things worth knowing before you buy:

Calling it from your own code

There is a free background removal API as well: one POST, no API key and no account. It has its own limits, listed on that page, and they apply whether or not you hold a pass.

Payment and receipts

Payment runs through our payment provider, who acts as merchant of record: they take the payment, handle VAT and send you the receipt. We never see or store your card details. Prices include any VAT that applies to your country.

A pass is stored in the browser you bought it in — there are no accounts here — so it will not show up on another device or in a private window.

Refunds

Unhappy? Mail us and you get your money back. The details are in our Refund Policy; the full conditions are in the Terms of Use.

Frequently asked questions

Is BGNinja really free?

Yes. No account, no watermark, and the free tier returns the photo at full resolution — not a shrunken preview. It is not a trial; it never expires.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no login. A pass, if you buy one, is remembered in the browser you bought it in — it is not tied to an account.

What happens to my photo?

It is processed in memory and the response is the finished PNG. The file is never written to disk, so there is nothing stored to delete or leak.

What does the paid pass unlock?

Larger source photos — up to 100 megapixels instead of 30 — and a bigger batch, 25 photos at once instead of 3. It does not change the cutout quality: free and paid run the same processing.

Is it a subscription?

No. Both passes are one-off payments. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again once the pass ends.

Does one pass work on your other tools?

Yes. The same pass also raises the limits on CleanGrab, StemGrab and the rest of ShinobiTools — see shinobitools.com.
