What we actually measured

Numbers from our own server, not an estimate: over the 40 days from 13 July to 21 August 2026, the background-remover mode ran 24 times. None of those jobs failed once they were accepted — 0 out of 24. Three uploads were turned away before processing even started, which on a free tool with a 99 MB ceiling is almost always an oversized or unreadable file, not the AI choking on a hard photo.

The files themselves were modest: across the 195 uploads logged sitewide in the same 40 days, the average was 1.18 MB and the largest we actually processed was 28.24 MB — comfortably inside the 99 MB limit, and every sample we measured landed well clear of it; none came within 10% of the ceiling. In practice, people aren't uploading giant files to test the limit — they're dropping in an ordinary phone photo or product shot, which is exactly the case this tool is built around rather than a deliberate stress test of the upload ceiling.
