Most uploads take one or two seconds. The converter reads your image, groups it into areas of colour and turns each area into a smooth vector outline. You see the result on the page before you download it.

JPG to SVG works the same as PNG to SVG. A JPG has no transparency and often a little compression noise; Logo mode is tuned to ignore that noise, so you do not get hundreds of stray specks. If the logo sits on a white or coloured box you want gone, tick Remove the background first and the box disappears before tracing. Check the preview: on a logo made of separate parts, the remover can take some of those parts away too. If that happens, untick it.
Honest note: no tracer turns a photo into a neat, simple vector. Paid tools with trained models do better on photos and on very small, blurry logos. For a clear logo, icon, signature or line drawing, the free result here is ready to use.
